It is our intention to keep you as ‘active
as you want to be’ on your holidays in the Ardeche or the Alps – our team always have another option up their
sleeves, whether it's driving off to a summer favourite or a sneaky off-piste route home, we make sure that we are on hand
to give you all the options...
If you are on one of our accompanied summer
trips, our staff will be personally taking you to activity bases and joining you on walks and excursions to make sure that
you are getting the very most out of your trip. In all cases, you’ll be seeing us during your stay to make suggestions
and recommendations to you and to ensure that your trip is going smoothly. Local transport can be provided by us. We make
sure that whether your holidays are ski, summer, active or relaxed - they'll go off without a hitch.
About Evasion Travel...
Evasion Travel founder, Adam Breen studied Meteorology (weather - not
flying rocks) in Plymouth, UK and quickly found that it was wet and windy there. It inspired a move...
He moved to France and visited the Ardèche
in 2001 for a short spell during which he was captivated by its rugged and beautiful landscape. He later returned
to the area to spend three years exploring the region and running activity centres for school groups and families.
Between Ardèche summers, Adam spent his time in the Alps, skiing, snowboarding and working on a GPS tracking system for outdoor enthusiasts.
In 2006 Evasion Travel was created in order to share
the Alps and the Ardèche in the intimate environment that small groups provide.
In 2008, Adam's long-time partner (and soon to be wife), Annabel
decided that watching all the fun from her London office was too much. She made the leap from motor sports lawyer to outdoor
career girl and has never looked back.
The 'personal, flexible, fun' formula is one that Annabel
and Adam stayed close to as they took on more staff and expanded to provide Ardèche Activity Holidays, Summer Accommodation Rentals and Winter Alpine Holidays throughout the year. They still try to see meet all of our guests during their stays to be able to give them a personal welcome. The
Evasion Travel team are on hand to show you the sights, sensations and active experiences that will ensure
that your stay is simply unforgettable.
